A tour guide to Padua and a visit to the University of the city

We continued our day with a wonderful walk around the city of Padua. We saw beautiful sights and had fun all together. We visited the observatory, the Statue of the Madonna of the dirty water, the Piazza dei Signori, Shakespear's quote from the "Taming of the Shrew", and The Duomo.

The highlight of our walking tour was the visit to the amazing university of Padua, the second oldest university of the western world. We saw the Great Hall, the Hall of the Forty, the Medical Faculty Hall, the Anatomy Theatre, and we learned a lot of facts about the important personalities from all over Europe who were once students in the University. It was an excellent way to end our day.
