A cultural trip to Venice

Today we had a great day in Venice with our Italian friends. First, we visited Piazza San Marco, where we walked around and enjoyed the beautiful buildings. Then we went to the Palace of the Doges and learned about the history of Venice. After that, we visited the Archaeological Museum, where we saw interesting ancient objects. We also saw the Bridge of Sighs, which is very famous and beautiful. Later, we crossed the Rialto Bridge and took many photos of the canal. We took a short ride on a traghetto , which was a fun and different experience for us. After that, we visited the fish market, where we saw fresh fish and felt the local atmosphere. At some point the Italians left but we remained and did a lot of shopping for example we bought souvenirs for our friends and families. Finally, the day came to an end but for sure it was an unforgettable experience and we are so happy that in this journey we had our Italian friends .
